Down Farm is about a 15 minute drive from the M5 and just a 30-minute drive from both Exeter and Taunton.

By car

From the M5, exit at junction 27 and travel on the A361 towards Barnstaple. At the first roundabout turn right onto the A396 towards Bampton. Travel up the Exe Valley until the next roundabout, on the right-hand side is the Exeter Inn. Turn left towards Dulverton. Very shortly after this roundabout is a turning to the left opposite a white house. Travel over the river and up the hill (this is a single track road) for 2 miles. On the left hand side is West Steart Farm. We are the next track on the right hand side. There are signs for Down Farm and Honeywell at the top of the track. Follow the track, which is very bumpy, turning to the right at the fork and then right again at the next fork. This gravel track will take you to the parking area for the property.

By public transport

The nearest train station is Tiverton Parkway which is 14 miles away. There is no public transport to the farm but we can offer you a train station pick up service for £30.00 each way should you need this. Alternatively, taxis can be booked through Frankies or Tiverton Parkway taxis.
